Tammy Schulz, C.P.T., Instructor, Owner
Originally from Chicago, IL, mother of four and grandmother, Tammy has been in the fitness industry for over 35 years. Tammy is certified in West Coast Pilates and Pilates Plus Teacher Training, with over 800 hours combined.  Also an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer, Spinning and AFAA Group Exercise instructor. Pilates Plus also has Instructor Training Programs at the Studio, to continually further their education.
"I have always had a passion for fitness, dedicated and committed to my clients. It is very rewarding for me to help my clients achieve their goals. I know I am giving them something they can take with them and use to improve their daily living."

Traci Schulz, Instructor, Movement Specialist
Traci began her love for exploring the mechanics of the body as a young dancer. She was introduced to Pilates later in her dance career, by her mother Tammy, as a tool to enhance her techniques. Traci was trained by Stefan Knight of the Vineyard Pilates Center in the classical Pilates Method. She has undergone two full training programs. After which, Traci decided to take on new Pilates teacher hopefuls in her own teacher training program. Specializing in body movement, corrective methods and taking on the challenges of advanced clients, Traci is a certified PMA Pilates Instructor, an AFAA certified group fitness teacher, a 200 hour Yoga teacher, and a ZUMBA certified teacher as well. Her most recent attribute to movement is her creation of a Pilates and Yoga infused class that is set to music. It teaches the dynamics and strength of Pilates while keeping the mental focus and flexibility of Yoga as it is creatively blended to specific music for those movements. Traci is also a teacher in the newest craze of Barre classes that blends the Lotte Burke Method with pilates, yoga, dance and strength.
“I am a true believer in that the body and mind can heal itself. And I refuse to take ‘I can’t’ as an answer to healing and learning ones own body. The pure joy of my clients as they feel their own body’s progress, is truly why I love to teach and continue my own learning in this exploration of the body as we create it’s manual.”

Kimberly Smith, Instructor
I sing the body electric!” Kimberly Smith could not agree more. Walt Whitman “praised the thrilling aspects of the human body,” precisely how Kimberly has felt for most of her life. She studied Communications, Theatre and Psychology in college, paying her way through school as personal trainer and a surgical tech for orthopedic
surgeons. Her passions have always been the stage, travel and great food. Years later, Kimberly returned to school to earn her Culinary Arts degree, which lead to more travel as a chef and caterer. She earned
her nickname Gypsy by traveling through the US and Latin America, cooking in cities like Steamboat Springs, CO. and Chicago, IL and living for years in Mexico, Venezuela and Honduras. A debilitating,
painful spinal injury kept her in and out of bed for nearly ten years, often interfering with work, travel and life despite her attempts to heal through conventional methods and exercise. Her travels finally landed
her on Martha’s Vineyard, where fate would lead her to Pilates. Kimberly used Pilates and Rolfing as rehabilitation, and after less than a year she was completely pain free! Her experience was so profound
that she decided to train as an instructor and therapist. Studying with Stefan Knight on Martha’s Vineyard and The Pilates Center of Boulder, she received her certification in 2003, followed by her internationally
recognized PMA certification in 2008. Always eager to keep learning, she has continued her studies in a variety of bodywork techniques including Yoga, Feldenkrais, Yamuna Body Rolling, Swedish Massage,
Reflexology, Aromatherapy, and exercise anatomy. Guided by the individual needs of her clients, Kimberly uses safe and effective training and proven goal coaching techniques to assist her clients in achieving their goals. She loves people, is forever fascinated by observing human movement, and has been touched by the profound
results Pilates brings to peoples' lives.
